To Educators
After Tightwire was published, I had the great privilege of having a community college professor use the novel in their English class. The experience gave me the opportunity to view my own writing through the eyes of the students — their comments, questions, reactions. I was also privileged to collaborate with the teacher, a wonderful educator, and I’m certain that I learned as much as her students. I’m grateful for everything I learned.
One piece I learned was the incredible amount of work, the myriad of details, that teachers field on a daily basis. With that in mind, I’ve written teachers manuals for all of my novels. Each manual is geared for a particular focus. If you’re thinking about bringing one of my novels into your classroom, the manuals are listed below. They’re organized by chapters.
